I find it funny that people are all over husker. I bet most of you were in the same position he was in, during the hiring boom, the only difference is you guys took the job. Most of you can hide behind your screen names though. Im just as guilty.
I, along with many of my friends, stayed with instructing and went to the job that we wanted to go to rather than settling for a run of the mill regional. Not saying I'm holier than thou but we all had choices when it came to where we chose to work. Some of us chose to spend a little longer time instructing and get into a regional where we can actually make a living and be happy for the long haul until the majors.
Of course I'm furloughed while many of my students who went to Brand X Regional are holding lines after being hired with 300 hours. Such is life.
