145's aren't really all that easy to come by anymore. I'm pretty sure they're not producing the airframe anymore (just what i heard and I don't feel like looking it up so I could be wrong). However, Independence had a crap ton of CRJ's sitting around at random airports that can get picked up to add more planes on property. I know ASA is flying some of them cuz the bright purple interior, BR tail number, and the giant "I" on the back of the seats kinda gives it away. As far as the troubles with the CRJ program at CHQ, I don't know anything about it...
