Maybe I should post a nice button my father gave me from the United Airlines strike from 1985 that will help you better understand how this industry is SUPPOSED to work. This current day and age (never mind the economy) is NOT how the airlines are supposed to work. To many airlines have to many "dirty corner-standing ladies" who take everything they can, but do nothing for the industry as a whole. With the attitude you convey, I would assume you are one of the "many", so no point in continuing.
I agree that it's a bad situation, but more importantly, I understand the concepts of capitalism. If you cannot survive and compete under your present structure, you either restructure or get eaten by somebody who will. If you disagree with capitalism and the free market, then I suggest you move to Nevada and help Harry Ried from losing his seat in his next election.
