I believe UND allows you to pay either in-state tuition or the WUE (western-undergraduate exchange) rate which would be cheaper than out-of-state tuition at ERAU. Plus its a real college experience (girls, hockey, girls, other sports, girls, etc.). I'm not familiar with other schools like Purdue or Kent State or if they would give you a break on tuition. But something worth checking into.
You seem like a smart kid, so if you really want to go to pursue an aviation degree, then do it! BUT, I HIGHLY recommend double majoring in something else as well, like business, economics, engineering (if your crazy), or history. You need something to fall back on. Personally, I have a commerical aviation degree from UND and also a business degree. Its nice to have a back up plan! Good luck in your efforts!
