Not sure about ERAU, but I don't think you get automatic full "credit" at any aviation college. At UND, you won't get credit because the private pilot course is a college class as well and in order to get the college credit, you need to take the course. For those that have a PPL already, the flying portion of the class is achieved by flying a few lessons with a CFI. I don't know how many lessons there will be because they are changing it this spring, but I think its far south of 10 lessons (of which maybe 6 are actually flights). But again, I don't have specifics since its changing. Mostly its to get you use to UND procedures and aircraft.
