What this would mean for those of you who are waiting to get hired, no one knows yet. If the economy really picks up in 2010, who knows, maybe things will turn around. But unless XJ gets more aircraft to replace Saabs that are getting parked, you won't see any hiring in 2010. However, this industry can change on a moments notice. So who knows what will happen in 2010.
Glad to hear that block hours are going up in the a/c that will be around. But I know that without a saab replacement it won't be pretty for a while. And besides without the saabs it's just another regional. I was sad to see the avros leave, now without the saabs XJ just isn't the same.
