I disagree with the the corrections. Original paragraph was more professional. Changes sound too informal...I don't think you want any "I's" on your resume. Conversational tone is more appropriate on a cover letter. Perhaps replace this whole paragraph with an "objective" column and statement (i.e. Objective: First Officer position with an industry leading part 135 flight operation)
