[quote=jsled;732571]Lamborne and Contrail,

"Look, I am not here to support Mr. Wallach but he deserves more credit than he is getting. The TT was done to mitigate furloughs. He could do it, because the contract allowed it without company consent. Whether or not it mitigated furloughs, is questionable. I think it slowed the pace a bit, but that was certainly the intent. Lowering block hours would take company consent, which we did get with the LOA under Wallach's watch, and don't forget line quarantee - never had it before, got it now. And "worse than Whiteford?" c'mon Lamborne, your pension and the 70 seat Rj were negotiated away under Whiteford and his "bankruptcy committee". The later is what allowed the parking of the guppies and 1200 furloughs. In any case, I am glad we have a change in leadership. We need a fresh start."

When I questioned the tt issue I was told by lec and also negotiating committee folks that it was because most of the pilots could not use the tt system in it's current form so they were taking it from the company as they did. I asked and there was no mention of saving pilots from being let go. Ifthat was mention most people would have no problem with taking the tt system away to help out fellow pilots. However since I was never told of that intenet I had an issue with the way it was handled as part of our contract als says that if an issues affects quality of life or pay then it should be voted on by the members it never was and we have had that issue in the past.
