If so, would you be willing to share the contact info for your FSDO/ person in OK City who gave you the ok. I was in the 11/08 furlough group & am finally going to just pay to do the ATP Part 61, but I took my written in March '07. Anything you could provide me with would be great. Thanks!

Yes, I did my ATP Pt. 61 using an expired written exam. Unfortunately I don't have a contact in OKC, because my local FSDO and DPE took care of everything. Talk to your local FSDO and explain the situation. You will obviously need your written and a copy of your furlough letter. I don't understand why some pepple are having such a hard time with this, I guess it depends on how people interpret the FARs, but talk to your FSDO, they should know the answer, and they can always check with OKC. The only thing your DPE will have to do different is complete a PAPER 8710 form, as IACRA will reject your written information.
