It's about integrity. It's about a union leadership that is doing the same thing to it's employees that they oppose management doing to pilots. It's about treating everyone as equals.
It's about LEC and MEC officers standing up and demanding that it stop. And if the National leadership refuses to do so, holding them accountable.
Maybe that's what the Mesa pilots are [deleted] about, I don't know. Maybe it's because when National insisted they begin assessing themselves since they were a potential merger target and they voted the idea down, they got it crammed down their throat anyway? Maybe it's because the legacies get access to funding (NWA/DAL) and groups like Midwest and now Mesa don't?
It's about integity, [deleted]. About a union I personally care a tremendous amount for, being destroyed by the most inept leadership in it's history. And it's being allowed to continue because the members of it's Executive Board and Board of Directors are too damn busy telling themselves how wonderful and special they are and haven't got the balls to stand up and throw the bums out.
In the end, it will be that phenominal staff and the dues paying pilots who will get left holding the bag. You and others will be standing there with that myopic stare and asking each other, "what just happened?"
