Actually the newest HOT rumor on the SS side of the house is a massive layoff of managers. There are already high level talks to, instead of perhaps losing managers to IPA in a public court food fight they will simply remove them from the table by laying them off to take away that hammer from a new administration that is going after them. Plus it gives the air group bragging rights in ATL about cutting unit costs since the excess IPA pilots can easily pick up the slack, and they also have additional reserves if needed as they can cancel future RDG. And the junior guys having dodged the bullet will be grateful to have a job (and no more reduced pay since RDG will be cancelled-returned to full pay) they will have far better attitudes than the MRB writing/higher cost drones that will soon hit the street. PLUS the remaining magazine straighteners will cower for their lives!
