Actually ASA did give integration to Skywest witout any reciprocity. A union can do what you say if they negotiated for it.

Its only impossible because the management doesn't want to. Management already has a good relationship with ASA ALPA so I don't know what they fear.

ExpressJet was able to win a contract recently and the pilots still have a industry leading contract. Don't sell yourself short, especially when your company has $750B in the bank, making money for 30+ years, and still making money despite everything that has happened since 9/11. I'm glad SWAPA didn't take that same attitude when people said that LCC pilots' pay wouldn't be significantly better because major airlines or other LLCs would not allow that.

Integration can be DOH, relative seniority, with or without fences. Whatever makes it fair and equitable.
