Okay here's the R.A. update. First off, the guy is an A$$!!! I do not particulary care for him at all!!! Some of the lowlights at this meeting were:
(Yes, I was there, sat through it even though Comair/RHS wasn't invited.

1. He praised the CVG hub for doing a resonably well job. (slap in the face) Talked about Japan and J.A.L. A LOT. Said the CVG to CDG flight was doing extremely well out of CVG. (So why did you move it then you bastard?)

2. A ballsy 757 Captain asked him about CVG and what was going to happen. This Captain DEMANDED a straight answer. What he got was more R.A. BULL _hit. He kept talking about the other bases and how well thier performance is compared to CVG. Also CVG IS NOT PROFITABLE, according to him and they keep trying to find the right mix of A/C.
3. A Super BALLSY Gate Agent asked him if the executive compensation package was industry average and if it is why isn't the pay for the rest of us? R.A. tells everyone they should be glad they have a job, we saved your butts etc. The Gate Agent was ****ed!!!!

4. I ask him after the meeting was over "What's going to happen to Comair?" He gave me this look like I cussed him out. This guy DOES NOT LIKE COMAIR PERIOD. He also did not answer my question then looked at me and saw I had my Comair gear on. That did it. I then asked him " Do you see Comair merging with Mesaba or someone else?" He says "NO, I DON'T THINK SO. NOT AT ALL." He was keenly focused on my Comair gear. A buddy of mine working today also went to this meeting and yes we were uninvited guest. When he saw him in his gate uniform with the Comair gear on, he got the same look too.

Draw your own conclusions. I'm not saying a thing about what this means for Comair.
