Rumors on the line at CX is that future SO hiring will be from former cadets only (local and international cadets). On top of that rumors are that we may not hire FOs again until all of the current SOs are upgraded. This is due to a labor court ruling that came down in favor of the SOs that filed the petition. The company has appealed the ruling so standby for further.

All that said, I believe that we will need to hire pilots towards the end of the year just based on scheduled aircraft deliveries and the fact that we are now pulling stored freighters out of the desert. We also keep hearing about additional services to existing destinations as well as new destinations (Jeddah, Milan, etc)
