How about trying this, getting a job...I have a friend that left CMR went to United, then furloughed. He did NOT sit and Travel the world like some or sit on unemployment for 14 mos. He got a job, not a flying job, a job. And didn't use the excuse of I have to make what I did before. He just got a job. That easy. I think the thread was just to see who has had an opportunity to fly, not who has a job. People may have jobs, and still not stay current flying. Or, they may get to fly sometimes, to stay current.
I think you need to look at where someone lives, then determine their employment opportunities. If you live in KY or OH, the job market is in a sad state. I live in Florida and the job market in FL is pretty non-existent (and the jobs available are low pay). I think Michigan would be a horrible place to try to look for work!
