Thats not true. I can hand fly as much as I care to...sometimes more if the autopilot is broken. I always handfly
atleast 1 full leg per month. Many times the autopilot isn't clicked on until after level off unless I am feeling extra lazy that day. If you happen to go to a BE1900 operator most of the time you have no choice...you WILL hand fly because there is NO autopilot installed.
