One snotty East captain said that for a CLT-bound flight from PHX, and another (West) pilot told him to shut up, and use the correct callsign, or he wouldn't get clearance to fly.
I wonder what the penalties are, if any, if a Northwest captain used the NWA callsign on purpose, when the jet is in NW colors. I'd sure love to hear that callsign over the radios again. I also wonder what it's like in MSP or DTW, to have the DC-9 train in Delta colors, instead of NW colors. Atlanta must look even better with the RJ trains darting around.
