The previous CFO outlined 150 airplanes that UAL could easily park. Gas prices go up and the guppy fleet was parked. I have seen nothing from this management that leads me to believe they want to grow the mainline. Even the current "letter of intent" for the 787/A-350 purchase is a reduction in capacity that will begin in 2016.

Do I believe the CFO? I could care less. Their past practices have shown they only know how to revenue share, outsource, furlough, park airframes, burn furniture, and reap huge salaries. How to buy their own planes, employ them on profitable routes, and motivate their employees has yet to be demonstrated.
