Well, the Q is more fuel efficient than a CRJ. I think the Q hype was mostly during the times when Oil prices were skyrocketing. I know the Q is working very well for Horizon, they are phasing out their CRJs and I believe they are getting a couple of more Qs. I don't understand why they got guys on furlough either, Horizon made $8 million dollars last year, too.

The Q rumor at Comair was probably just a crapload of BS just like the rumor of Comair gettings EFBs and United flying. Unforunately these rumors were started by the Director of Flt. Ops.

I have a couple of friends at Lynx, incl. a few former Comair guys. Sucks to see what RAH is doing to this indusry, and I wish the guys at Lynx all the best.
