This career is not worth it anymore, just ask any 50 year old regional pilot. Or ask any furloughed pilot, or one of several thousand pilots who have been furloughed more than 2 times and are forced to start back over at a regional airline as a first officer making $20 an hour and have to figure out a way to still pay the family bills, because for them it is too late in their life to make a career change. The good news is you are young enough to find a different career. It's unfortunate that the truth has to be this negative, but it is what it is.
