Wouldn't that have been the entire point of negotiating the side letter to begin with? So that Eagle pilots could come to AA?

Just to be clear, you are saying that AA, APA, AE, EGL ALPA sat down and negotiated letter 3 all those years ago so that you wouldn't have to go to AA when the time came? They negotiated two groups, one being pilots who don't want to go, and the other group that does want to go, and then accepted their seniority numbers while waiting for class dates.
