I've never been pulled over either... fastest in traffic was a little over 120. The only reason I have ever been this fast was purely tactical... getting away from a tailgater,,, gaggle of fools and so on. After clear of danger, of course back off to a reasonable speed. I doubt a cop would ever give a ticket if you are trying to elude danger and then settle down afterward. I have had my bike up to over 150 on the runway at my local airport. My nerve gave out before the bike did.

My son had a '07 GSXR600 but it was destroyed my an elderly gentleman. He appeared clueless as to the gravity of the situation including a totalled bike and an injured rider laying on the pavement. Fortunately, my son wasn't hurt too bad. He is bikeless now and I miss him as a riding partner.
