Had a brief chat with one of our chief pilots (KS) this morning and asked about summer recalls. His answer was that as it stands, there would be no summer recalls, but if Delta changed their minds about the summer schedule again and increases ASA's portion, it was possible. He also said we should know more by the beginning of April - after April there would be little point to recalling because they wouldn't be able to get people up to speed fast enough. He also indicated that the possible demise of Mesa might open up more opportunity for us on the United operation.

Personally, I'm skeptical that Delta would increase hours for ASA over what is scheduled now and I would be really surprised if Mesa actually went under. I think realistically we should not expect any recalls until next year. Pure speculation so take if for what it is!
