Let's all pretend XJT's branded operation didn't succumb to high fuel prices...but rather it flourished, evolving its markets and growing many to the point where even full 50-seat RJs weren't economical. And XJT ordered 20 of these same airplanes (or E175/190s or whatever).

Would you be championing "the industry is dead" then?
