Agreed about doubting many Captains, of all ages, will be looking for major jobs because I don't think those jobs will be there for the most part. A few will go if the timing, age and their luck is right, but I'd wager 8 out of 10 will be sitting left seat at Beagle for the remainder of their airline careers.
How many of those do you think will regret they didn't work harder to forge a stronger union in their younger days?
I'll give you all of the above - of course it took their whole career (not 6 months) "to get their turbine time."
