I am all for granting any instructor check airman authority. Their training is the same. It is just the FAA and UPS who have made the agreement to issue instructor letter the the line guys.

The dues issue is much more thorny. Since the mgt. guys had no union protection, why should they pay back dues. Not to mention the fact that the real issue of importance is just getting the mgt. guys on the list. This should be primary in importance.
