It's all in 61.109. For a SEL PVT they have to have 3 hours X-C training in a SEL airplane, 3 hours night training in a SEL airplane, 3 hours hood time in a SEL airplane, and 3 hours training in the preceding 2 months in a SEL airplane. They also have to have the 10 hours solo (61.109 (a)(5)) in an SEL airplane.
How you roll the night X-C hood time together is up to you. They've already got 40 hours flight time and 20 hours dual.
