"Forced to go" is another one. If there is evidence that a pilot was forced to sign the contract to go to AA, that is a potential criminal situation that should be investigated. But, from what I hear, the choice was voluntarily made. No one can see the future, but a person of their word honors the contract they signed. But life is dealing with decisions we made that with hindsight weren't the best ones. We deal with our choices and make the best of them.
