Flyboydc9, our careers are VERY similar...I interviewed at AA in '00, never heard from UPS then, and after being hired at AA and United turned down a Fed Ex interview soon after (bad idea?--hindsight sure is 20/10!). I applied only to UPS this time--it's really where I wanted to be. I fly intl cargo NOW for the AFR (C-17) and love it. I don't know why I was turned down, but I sure hope it wasn't for disparaging cargo flying in any way.

But 7576pilot's comments about AA recalling and UPS being a "safety net" may have been in the back of HR's minds. I just wish they hadn't strung me along for almost 6 weeks and just canned me right away!
