Unless I'm mistaken, you still will eventually be called for training. Yes, I can understand how frustrating that could be...but would you want to trade positions with me? I doubt it.

C17Turtle,
I would not want to be in your shoes. BUT you stil have AA for when they call you back, AND you have Uncle Sam. You guys get paid good over there from the Uncle and have a good safety net as well. So look at if from my point of view. I had NONE of that before Brown called.
You will be called you are correct. But between 2001 and 2004 when UPS was not interviewing all those guys sat in the pool. Then when they starting interviewing in late 2004, they reinterviewed the poolies. Some went back into the pool and some were give the rejection letter. So just because you are in the pool DOES not mean you will be called. You can sit for a very, very long time.

Been swimming for 19 months. It is frustrating but UPS is the #1 company I want to work for. Hopefully I'll get the magical phone call someday.
the 2001 to 2004 poolies got dumped because there was a new manager of hiring when they started hiring again.

19 months, wow.
Guess I'll stop watching the mailbox for a letter. I interviewed last week, I know you found out you were in the pool, and it may be a while until I hear whether I'm in the pool or not, but still, 19 months. You got to be pulling your hair out!

19 months is not the norm. I was in the pool for 2 months and most of my friends were 2 or 3 months. I start class next week on NOV 16th, 2006. Good luck to you!
