Flyboy and Turtle, sorry to hear about your experiences at UPS. Don't know what to tell you. I was in the same boat. Called by FedEx, DL and SW while I was on probation at AA in 00'. I do know that they are interviewing and hiring quite a few of our fellow furloughed AA bubbas. I never got the feeling that the folks in UPS HR viewed returning to AA as a "safety net" or held it against me. This place is turning into an ex-legacy club. I have seen AF friends who spent time at UA, DL, and NW in the month I've been here.

As far as the nights go, been there done that. My last year in LGA I flew as much at night as I did in the day. You can't fly int'l and fly just days, I don't care where you are AA or UPS. I'd love to be doing my Carib turns and 2 days again, but that life just doesn't exist anymore, at least not for a few more years if/after I came back anyway.

Let's all hope the best for AA. I loved my 4+ years there. I just feel amazingly fortunate that I have options now that I am here. Best of luck.
