It took me three tries to find a good tax guy who understood everything involved in the foreign income exclusion. I finally went to the people at pilot-tax dot com and they seem to have a pretty good grasp on things. They went through and got me about $4000 in refunds from the prior two years by correcting all of the mistakes in those returns.

Who ever you choose, ask questions and see how they answer them....and do some research yourself so you can tell if they have any clue what they are talking about. Be fore warned, it's complicated and a lot of people have no clue how to do it.
