It took me three tries to find a good tax guy who understood everything involved in the foreign income exclusion. I finally went to the people at pilot-tax dot com and they seem to have a pretty good grasp on things. They went through and got me about $4000 in refunds from the prior two years by correcting all of the mistakes in those returns.
Who ever you choose, ask questions and see how they answer them....and do some research yourself so you can tell if they have any clue what they are talking about. Be fore warned, it's complicated and a lot of people have no clue how to do it.

I do expat pilot taxes. It's busy season so I haven't had a chance to add an Expat tab to my website but I handle all expat tax issues including of course the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion based on the Physical Presence (330 day) Test or Bona Fide Resident Test. I also do the Housing Exclusion as well as all associated things like employee expense deductions, moving expenses, foreign tax credit, etc. I advertise on Airline Pilot Central. Here is a link just in case.

Could somebody recommend a tax person that specializes in expat pilot taxes. I'd certainly appreciate it. Thanks in advance..
