thanks but I was really hoping to hear some specific opinions/reasoning on the subj. Of course I have reasons to go ahead and do a type rating instead of just going to an instructor to practice for ATP practical. Either way I'll have to take a practical exam, it seems make sense to go to one of the type rating schools to do that.

So which type rating is more valuable? Are there more jobs on B-737, B-757 or Airbus? Something along those lines
