Hi!

The previous congressional changes to Rest were Lobby-to-Lobby.

The Flight/Duty/Rest, increased mins for all -121 hires, and a bunch of other stuff are all included in the FAA authorization bill, that already passed Senate and House. As stated, the house/senate committee is working on a compromise on the differences.

I'm not sure if the F/D/R rules will be changed automatically by Congress, or if they give the FAA some time to make the changes vis NPRM. If the FAA is too slow, then Congress will probably enact the changes immediately, as they did with Age 65.

There WILL be a LOT of changes!
