Just wanted to say thanks for the words from all of you that have responded. I got a call from American Eagle yesterday. They wanted to know if I was intrested in a job. They don't pay anything but I am going to need food at the end of December. I don't know what to do! I figure it won't hurt to interview, maybe learn a few things about the process. Thoughts?

Take the interview. It shows UPS/Fedex you really want to fly. Teaches you about commercial flying, puts peanut butter on the table till move up. I did that in 93 leaving active duty. Flew at COEX for 3 years until hired at UPS. I was always 'next in line' with my Fedex buds. I enjoyed my commuter, now regional time as a EMB-120 right rider. No money, but I learned alot about what companies I wanted to work for at the time (Fedex/UPS) with Southwest as the only pax company. I enjoyed the people as well.
P.S. I'll bet you know someone at Fedex/UPS, maybe an IP from UPT or the RTU.
