When I got hired in 2000, I was in only the 3rd or so class to even get paid during training. Up until the end of 99', you only received a check for $600 at the completion of training (aircraft ride in the EMB). SkyWest was actually having a lot of no shows for class and decided to start paying.

BH went to ASA in 2007-08?
That's ancient history...XJT and CA used to charge people for new hire training too. But too bad that Brad couldn't stick to what had been promised.
