You are correct. I spoke with them personally. You don't HAVE to live at the outstation, but life would be probably even worse if you didn't, since it might be an 1-2 hour flight to get there but like a 7+ drive and you end up at the outstation on thursday or friday and won't fly back to DEN until monday. If you don't mind small towns and the schedule it wouldn't be the worst gig in the world. They offered me a spot and I strongly considered it. The training contract was the big no no for me. 18 months and NON prorated... to fly a navaslow seemed too much. Especially when its 7500 bucks... that's like 6 months of pay! haha. Upgrade time sounded nice, but then you start a new contract. sooo... you'd have to probably spend at least 2-3 years before you could move on w/o owing money.
Guess I better hope something else better comes along in less than 18 months.
