Thanks for the help with this guys. Doesnt seem like this gig is for me. Not down with signing the contract and from what i hear your not based in denver your based in the outposts which are in the middle of nowhere.

You are correct. I spoke with them personally. You don't HAVE to live at the outstation, but life would be probably even worse if you didn't, since it might be an 1-2 hour flight to get there but like a 7+ drive and you end up at the outstation on thursday or friday and won't fly back to DEN until monday. If you don't mind small towns and the schedule it wouldn't be the worst gig in the world. They offered me a spot and I strongly considered it. The training contract was the big no no for me. 18 months and NON prorated... to fly a navaslow seemed too much. Especially when its 7500 bucks... that's like 6 months of pay! haha. Upgrade time sounded nice, but then you start a new contract. sooo... you'd have to probably spend at least 2-3 years before you could move on w/o owing money.
Guess I better hope something else better comes along in less than 18 months.

I was wondering more of where they were hiring for. If they really are hiring. (although it doesn't really matter to me, I'm not looking)

It is a pay to play gig that has been the topic of many threads before. I can sum them up for you.
You pay a lot of money to work as an FO for a plane that requires only one pilot. Everyone is going to tell you not to do it. Some people try to justify paying for a "job", and if they do, they are more to blame for the state of the industry more than any evil airline management.

It won't, because the 1500 hour rule only applies to part 121 pilots. So from now on, cargo is where the low-pay newbie jobs will be, and passenger or part 121 cargo will be where you go afterwards. Which is going to hurt those of us already in the part 135 cargo industry IMO. I've been flying part 135 cargo for 10 years, at first because yeah it was the only job I could get, but then after that it was a lifestyle choice. Now I'm simply hanging on to my job while this economic wave goes through.

I saw two of their pilots the other day while in Denver. They both looked pretty young and to think they're owned by keylime made me glad I'm not in their shoes.
If they paid $150/day and had better maintenance then I would think about it.

I use to make $250 a day washing one Cessna 172. Took about 3 hours.
Food for thought!
