Do Delta does it and those people were the most senior pilots in the class and were not subject to the PWA last four is the ssn determining seniority.
That's cool that DAL does it, but I don't think thats the norm. I'd have to talk to my brother, but I'm pretty sure that when he did an inter company transfer at UAL he lost his first DOH for seniority purposes.
