That's cool that DAL does it, but I don't think thats the norm. I'd have to talk to my brother, but I'm pretty sure that when he did an inter company transfer at UAL he lost his first DOH for seniority purposes.

UAL also does it. You do not maintain your original DOH but you are the most senior person in your class regardless of SSN.

I beleive you get your longevity for passes and vacation as well. I am do not think they get longevity for pay.
