Absolutely amazing. And there is no excuse for the "we didn't have jets, and we have no twelve year F/Os" mentality. That pay scale is an embarassment and an insult to every airline pilot flying today.
So if that is an embarrassment, how would you explain the lynx rates? Last time I checked, RAH emb 135 captains make more than lynx 70 something seat Q400 captains,or at least about the same.
And that pay scale is virtually every regional pay scale contract signed back when the industry was slow. Lynx people chose to go fly for sub rah rates in 2007 when everyone was hiring. Southwest captains make 200k a year to fly a 737, United guys make 120k to fly an airbus virgin america even less, how about go express your outrage at them.
