CAL has 25 options for the 787. CAL starts getting 777 this year and 787 next year, if Boeing gets it built.

When do UAL firm orders start arriving? Are they replacing older wide body aircraft with them, like the 747 and maybe some older 767?

Look for the Airbus orders to probably get cancelled if this merger happens.
