I have never flown the 500 either, but I have gobs of time in a II and we had 2 runways we used regularly(SP) that I felt we needed the reversers. Most airports it's a non issue with the low REF speeds of a straight wing citation.
I talked to a crew in Denver a few years back in a williams powered 500 and they had nothing but good things to say about the conversion. Good luck with the new plane
