Tell me about it, I have only been Jr once in my 9.5 years here. I don't think C/O is going anywhere, I have been known to pad my schedule by 10 to 30 hours every once in a while. But that does not mean that I think it is healthy attitude for the crewforce to live by the motto "Someday I'll be senior enough to fly 120 hours a month".

If you're senior enough to hold it, than it's a good thing, for you, because, if nothing else, it gives you additional flexibility in creating your quality of life. At the same time, if you're not senior enough to hold it, it's a bad thing, because not only do you not have that additional flexibility, but you have to watch others who do, and that runs against the grain of the vast majority of us, senior or not. You can be sure that the number 2 guy in the entire system is jealous of the carryover trips that the number 1 guy is getting. It's human nature.

I wonder how many RJ guys would trade a FDX line number even if it meant being on the street for a year? Anyone think those C/O trips would last long in open time?
