If you're senior enough to hold it, than it's a good thing, for you, because, if nothing else, it gives you additional flexibility in creating your quality of life. At the same time, if you're not senior enough to hold it, it's a bad thing, because not only do you not have that additional flexibility, but you have to watch others who do, and that runs against the grain of the vast majority of us, senior or not. You can be sure that the number 2 guy in the entire system is jealous of the carryover trips that the number 1 guy is getting. It's human nature.

Well - If carryover wasn't there prior to 4a2b it wouldn't be there while in 4a2b so what again what was your point?
Oh wait, I think I get it - If the carryover wasn't there the really senior crowd that would have to suffer along with everyone else and would be chanting "enough is enough furlough the b@st@rds"
I'm not saying carryover is a bad thing (I like the flexibility it offers) - it is just that, under 4a2b, not everyone is sharing the pain!
