Rumor alert!

JFK crew base to close, DTW base to open by Sept. 1. CVG stays as it is.

JFK mechanics apparently know all about it. It could be bunk, but the ramp guys in GSO knew about that crew base way before the pilots ever did. Contract says at least 60 days notice, so if true, we'll find out pretty quick.
