It's not good for the EMPLOYEES for bad news to come on Fridays. HR departments nationwide would agree that in their eyes..the best day to fire someone, is on a Friday for the COMPANYS benefit.
Do it on a Friday, employee can't reek havoc the rest of the week...especially if it's done on a Monday..where it's one of those "we're letting you go at the end of the week" things....
So Fridays = good for company
Mondays = good for employee

Dont think applies in the airlines. I think we tasted all bad news almost everyday of the year and still do our jobs professionally. Even when we know we are getting kicked to the curb.
