A suggestion for you. Get in contact with the Coalition of Airline Pilot Associations in Washington DC.. They respresent 5 of the major pilot unions, including the APA.. Infact, the current CAPA president is from APA. These guys have a lot of pull in DC with certain groups, and might be able to help! Their airline unions inlcude those from AirTran, UPS, Southwest, ABEX and American.
