How much support do you think flight crews will give if their statements might be used against them in a court of law?

I agree. However, I don't think that prosecution of the pilots will help improve air safety. If we start doing that, pilots will start deactivating their cockpit voice recorders and working against authorities instead of with them. Only in the case of extreme negligence should pilots be prosecuted. For example if they were drunk, or flying without a clearance.

Apparently he's from Cluelessistan given his lack of knowledge of aviation, although he wades into an aviation forum spouting ignorant remarks and conclusions while expecting to be taken seriously. But I bet he can fly a mean computer simulation from his cubicle job.

He's naive as well...everything is political, and everything else is politics. Most of these turd worlders just love the UN for example, which is the circle jerk of politics, but decry anyone who points out their own political drivel.
